OCZ Vector 180 SSD

A lot of time passed since I bought Intel X25-M SSD. From that time it server me great. After more than five years there is 1 realocated sector, wearout level is second time on 98% (got fixed by FW update to 100%) it has a runtime of almost 2 years. The question is obvious - why to change it? It has "only" Sata 3.0 Gb/s and 80GB got somewhat tight place. Why did I choose the OCZ Vector 180 and not e.g. Samsung 850 Pro? Well I think Samsung is over marketed (10y warranty for SSD? Really? What for?), maybe I like more Japan (well OCZ is not Japan) than Korea. OCZ seems a less feature and less error prone product, OCZ SSD GURU utility supports Linux.. this is it. :)

Toshiba OCZ Vector 180

This is "long life" branch of OCZ SSD drives. It has higher warranty (5y) and MLC cells that are less prone to wearout than TLC.

Timing buffered disk reads: 1310 MB in 3.00 seconds = 436.51 MB/sec

Interesting is the graph, showing there is some "step" in the performance.

I've lost 225kB may not look that terrible, but is not good either. It is a bit disappointing as the Intel X25 is still in the service and has no issues.
