§LifeView NOT Hybrid PCI! LV3H

Got my hands on LV3H - LifeView Hybird card. It is combination of DVB-T/Analog TV/FM radio. Because it is for a good price and has a familiar recursive acronym in the name, I think it will be were popular soo. For now this card is pretty new and this page serves to document how it works (in this time how it does not work - as of 23.6.2010 at least the analog tuner is working) under Linux.

Rozhodl jsem se napsat oslavnou ódu na moji stařičkou zuvkovou kartu Sound Blaster 16 Value ISA. Slouží mi již od roku 1992. A pokud se ptáte proč jsem ji ještě stále nevyhodil, pak proto, že pořád hraje :).

§Chyby při stavbě roubeného domu

V tomto článku se pokusím shnout a zdokumentovat chyby, ke kterým došlo při stavbě naší roubenky. Za část z nich může nezkušenost firmy, za část podmínky, které se projevily až během stavby, část jako vždy nedbalost řemeslníků a samozřejmě i moje neznalost. Nutno připomenout, že neexistuje stavba bez problémů, některé se však dali eliminovat, další várkou trpělivosti a včasným zásahem.

§Howto enable compiz-fusion on Fedora 8

There is a lot of confusion about compiz-fusion in Fedora 8. Everything starts with mess in Fedora packages. The descrtiption on HowtoForge is wrong! It is another missleading example becuase it does not enable compiz-fusion but compiz only. What's the difference?
